Cord Blood Bank
For the past 2 decades, MBRI has been exclusively dedicated to the areas of animal cell culture
and blood cell isolation, and has earned a reputation for quality and service in this field. Based upon our
vast experience, a Cord Blood Bank has been launched to offer alternative therapies that could treat various
incurable diseases such as cancers and hematological malignancies, by supplementing or replacing bone marrow
transplantation.
Life Line was established in April 2003 and has been conducting Cord Blood business as the leading CB bank
in Korea. Two non-profit institutes are involved in this business; Mogam Biotechnology Research Institute (MBRI)
and Green Cross Reference Laboratory (GCRL). MBRI is responsible for both processing and cryopreservation with
a substantial long-term commitment to innovative therapeutic and clinical applications. GCRL, one of the best
