Overview

At the MOGAM Institute for Biomedical Research, we are committed to advancing the discovery of innovative therapeutics, grounded in a scientific understanding of life and powered by AI.

Even the smallest efforts must take root here,   for a future we may never see.

MOGAM Institute Building

Established in 1984 through the support of GC (formerly Green Cross), the institute stands as Korea’s first government-authorized private, non-profit research foundation.

At the time of its founding, launching an overseas institute or exploring alternative investments might have seemed a more favorable path. Yet, guided by the conviction that even the smallest efforts must take root in Korea, MOGAM was built on our own soil.

This decision reflected a profound determination to serve society, especially during an era when launching a private research foundation was far from easy.

Over the past four decades, we have fortified the landscape of life sciences in Korea. By synergizing our accumulated expertise with AI, we now accelerate the development of transformative therapies for patients in need.

This is our mission.
